Grassett's Flats Minnow

A very nice minnow pattern for fishing the flats. Looks like a number of different bait fish. I have just started using this pattern, but yesterday 9/21/08 I landed a nice Spanish Mac while working some docks near Sebastian Inet.
Gold estaz body, bucktail and peacock herl wing, 1/8" bead-chain eyes, using chartreuse thread.

All 1, 2, and 4 size flies tied on Mustad Signature Series Hooks unless otherwise specified.
